Cherry Insurance
Cherry Insurance, a locally owned business well known for its community spirit and support, has donated $100,000 to the Nutrien Plant Possibility campaign to establish a much-needed new home for the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre.
Cherry Insurance boasts an impressive 75-year history, marked by a commitment to being a positive force both in the business world and within our vibrant community. Throughout the years, the Cherry family has been dedicated supporters of Saskatoon, giving back to the community that’s supported them since day one. They believe this contribution to the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre reflects their belief in the power of collective efforts to bring about positive change.
Cherry Insurance is a family business rooted in the prairies. They know and value the commitment, teamwork, and spirit of generosity that is essential to a strong family and a healthy community. That spirit of generosity has inspired their support of many charities in Saskatoon including STARS Air Ambulance, Blue Cross Recess Guardians, Saskatoon Community Foundation, and a student bursary program at the University of Saskatchewan.
“We have been very fortunate,” said Scott Cherry, CEO of Cherry Insurance. “And with that comes a responsibility and a strong desire to give back to the community that has been so good to us. We are honoured to contribute to the Nutrien Plant Possibility campaign. The Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre helps over 23,000 individuals each month through some very challenging times; getting food on the table and the tools they need to regain their autonomy. We want to be a part of those critical supports.”
